Will Writing Service

How SCAA are tasked Image

SCAA has teamed up with firm, Watermans Legal Ltd, who specialise in Property, Family, Private Client and Commercial Law.  As a SCAA corporate sponsor and partner, they are waiving their fee, giving our supporters the chance to have a simple Will made or amended without being charged.

Why writing your will is so important

Almost 53% of adults in Scotland and 51% in the UK have yet to write their Will.  The most common reason people give for not yet having a Will is simply that they are putting it off until they are older (23%), but 16% say they don’t think they would have enough left to be worth passing on to their family, friends or causes they care about.

Your Will is one of the most important documents you will ever write as it is the only way you can ensure your wishes are carried out into the future. It’s also a chance to include a gift – large or small -  to both the people, and causes, that are close to your heart.

As a SCAA supporter we want to offer you the chance to write or amend a simple Will without being charged. If you would like to take up this offer, you can have a professionally drawn up basic Will, free of charge, however you might consider leaving a donation to SCAA of £100 for a single basic Will or £150 for a mirror Will.

It's a great opportunity to make your first Will, or update an existing one and there is no obligation to include a legacy to SCAA to take advantage of this offer but we would love it if you do.
