Our spring challenge offers people all over Scotland – and beyond – the chance to complete 100 Miles over the month of May and help fundraise for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).
You can walk, run, cycle, swim, row, use your wheelchair, treadmill or even your horse. The choice is yours – feel free to get creative or mix it up. There are no strict rules with this SCAA challenge. You can go at your own pace and even adjust your target to suit your ability. This is your challenge and we want you to enjoy it and do whatever works best for you.
You can sign up to our May challenge fundraiser for free and you will receive a free t-shirt to wear as you complete your miles.
Some participants even opt to start a month early and see what their total miles clock in at, and others opt to double their miles to reach 200!
“Last year, our 100 Miles in May challenge raised an incredible £60,000 for our life-saving charity,” said SCAA Digital Communications Officer Erin McDermott.
“Each May, the Scottish public wear their SCAA challenge t-shirts and complete their miles all over the country.
“We love to see all our fundraisers progress updates in the challenge Facebook group, which is always so encouraging and motivating. Last May the weather was glorious for the whole month, and everyone loved getting out more to complete their miles.
“As a whole, our 100 Miles in May challenge is very inclusive and appeals to so many people. We are already seeing people who took on the challenge last year returning, which is always encouraging.
“The most important thing is to post updates and distances covered to your fundraising page and share you progress within the group!”
