Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) is taking the road to the isles as lottery canvassers spread the word of the charity’s life-saving service on Skye.
Tower Lottery, who operate the fundraiser on SCAA’s behalf, are sending one of their most experienced teams – Meg and daughter Mo – to stage information and enrolment stands at the Co-op in Broadford.
The team will be at the local food store from October 20-24, following a six-day attendance at the Co-op at Kyle of Lochalsh on the mainland between October 13 and 19.
Supporters will be encouraged to help fund SCAA’s vital life-saving work throughout Scotland – including its many island communities – by signing up to their weekly lottery. This offers the chance of a weekly win of up to £1,000.
SCAA hopes as many people as possible will take the chance to chat with Meg and Mo, learn more about the country’s only charity-funded helicopter air ambulance service and sign up to support their life-saving crews.
SCAA believes no one in Scotland should die because help can’t get there in time and an ever-increasing number of lottery players nationwide are supporting them in that ambition.
The charity canvassers will be at each store between 9am and 5pm each day.
