Seven unique ways you can support Operation Skyward

There are plenty of ways you can help support the launch of our new, state-of-art H145 D3 air ambulance this year.

If you would like to be involved with Operation Skyward and help us raise the crucial £2 million needed to fund our advanced aircraft, we have outlined some ideas.

The H145 D3 is the air ambulance that you and your loved ones deserve. This helicopter will help save and improve lives all over Scotland. Whether you can help us raise awareness, spare your time, or offer financial support, it all helps to maintain this vital frontline service.

BE LOUD

Spreading awareness whether through sharing a social media post, telling friends and family about the charity, or opting in to receive our newsletters are all effective ways of helping us connect to more potential supporters. We may be biased but we think our donors are the best around, and we are fortunate to have many supporters who will help champion our cause and spread our message.

GET MOVING

With summer on the horizon, there are plenty of events you can sign up to. If you want a fun walk, why not try a Kiltwalk? Or, if running is more your thing, you can now sign up to our brand-new event ‘Run the Runway’. This 5km or 10km flat route takes you around our base at Perth Airport on Saturday 6 September. Other summer events include Ride the North 2025 (7 June), The Banchory Beast (20 September) or why not plan your very own challenge!

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

SCAA simply could not function without the help of our army of volunteers. Whether you want to help regularly or just for a one-off event, every volunteer makes a difference. Why not get your work involved too and encourage your organisation to offer a charity day of volunteering. We have over 220 incredible volunteers spread all over the country. They deliver talks about our service, help facilitate at events, become mascots, and help with collection cans.

UPDATE YOUR WARDROBE

Another quick and simple way to generate awareness for your air ambulance charity is to represent SCAA by donning some merch. Popular purchases include our SCAA beanie hats and hoodies. In fact, we have plenty of offerings to help keep you snug and warm all year round. Choose from our snoods, SCAA tartan scarfs, socks and other bespoke items. For those conscious consumers, our shop boasts great gift ideas.
