Our Run the Runway event returned for its second year at the weekend (Saturday 8 August).
The colourful running event raised over £11,000 for our life-saving charity.
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) would like to thank all our amazing runners for taking on our 5k and 10k runway challenge!
The atmosphere was electric from start to finish as runners of all ages donned their challenge t-shirts and sprinted around the runway at Perth Airport where our Helimed 76 crew are based.
The event was made a success thanks to our fundraisers, volunteers and event partners.
SCAA Events Officer Caryn Whitelaw said: “Run the Runway was a fantastic evening, and it was incredible to see so many people come together at Perth Airport to support Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.
“From the runners taking on the runway, to our brilliant volunteers, supporters and event partners, everyone played such an important part in making the evening a success.
“We’re absolutely delighted to have raised more than £11,000 so far. Every pound raised will help SCAA continue to provide life-saving care to people across Scotland when they need it most.
“A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, donated and helped make Run the Runway such a memorable night. We hope to see everyone again next year!”
