SCAA Stadium Takeover
Join our biggest event yet with exclusive access to Murrayfield Stadium! Abseil from the stadium roof or take on the stairclimb challenge!
Our Skyward Challenge is back, giving all Primary Schools and Youth Groups in Scotland the opportunity to WIN a visit from SCAA’s air ambulance helicopter!
To WIN this fantastic prize, we’re challenging young people to get involved by completing 100 laps of your playground, hall, sports field or local park whilst raising vital funds to keep our helicopters in the air and saving lives across Scotland.
The Skyward Challenge can be undertaken individually by each young person enrolled within your Primary School or Youth Group setting, or as part of a class/team in a relay format – it’s your challenge and we encourage you to be as creative as possible whilst taking part.
There will be 5 winners of the Skyward Challenge, meaning that the top 5 fundraising Primary Schools and/or Youth Groups will each receive a flying visit from our air ambulance helicopter in Spring 2027! Runner up prizes include a Q&A Zoom call with a member of SCAA’s crew!
HOW TO TAKE PART:
1. Complete the registration form online by clicking here so we can keep in touch as you prepare to take on your Skyward Challenge.
2. The registration form will automatically generate your online donation page to enable you to collect donations electronically – we encourage you to customise your page with your own profile name, photo and message should you so wish.
3. We’ll post you a Skyward Challenge fundraising pack, which includes posters, lap trackers, sponsorship forms and stickers to help promote your challenge.
4. We’ll also email you a digital asset pack, which includes images you can use to promote the challenge on your social media and school communications – don’t forget to tag us!
5. Each School/Youth Group will also receive a customised video message from our crew, allowing you to share this with your young people at assembly, in class or during your group sessions.
6. We actively encourage you to put your own spin on the challenge – combine it with a dress down day or use it as a chance to learn about the valuable work of the emergency services.
7. Set the date of your challenge between August and October 2026 – making sure you can get funds to us by Friday 30th October 2026.
8. We’ll notify the five winners by Friday 6th November 2026.
Total amount raised by a Primary School/Youth Group will be divided by number of young people enrolled in the setting.
On completion of the Skyward Challenge, all participating Primary Schools and Youth Groups will receive a digital thank you message from our crews, signed thank you card and certificate for your setting, along with individual certificates for all young people enrolled at the point of registration.
