Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance relies totally on the support of Trusts, Individuals and Companies to survive. If your company would like to get involved by supporting our life-saving work there are various options available.
Charity of the Year
Selecting SCAA to be your chosen charity of the year will allow your company to really learn about our fantastic work. By helping us to raise funds throughout the year, we offer fantastic volunteer roles for your staff and information about life-saving missions across Scotland that your staff have helped to fund. This will ensure that the partnership is successful and motivational.
Encourage your staff to get behind Scotland’s only charity air ambulance and develop a real team-spirit within your organisation. We are able to support your staff with ideas and materials for their fundraising activities.
Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charities and good causes of their choice.
Donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. It’s cheaper because its tax free - for example, a donation of £5 per month costs the basic rate tax payer £4.00 (the taxman pays the rest!) Higher rate taxpayers- the only way to pass on your 40% or 45% tax to charities. Only 28% can be recouped via other ways of giving.
Staff participation at events
Your company can help SCAA by promoting our many activity events to your staff, from parachute jumps to walking the west highland way!
Company matched funding is an added incentive for raising your fundraising targets.
