Power of Energy Charity Gala raises vital support for SCAA

The Power of Energy Charity Gala recently welcomed over 400 guests to the P&J Live in Aberdeen.

Co-presented by Energy Voice and Sustainable Growth Voice, along with DC Thomson-owned media partner The Press and Journal. the event was hosted by new Countdown anchor Colin Murray and offered guests the chance to learn more about the work of Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance and support their vital service through both a live and silent auction.

In total, £33,719.98 was raised to keep SCAA flying and saving lives in Scotland, representing a valuable contribution from the energy sector to support a vital Scottish lifeline.

"It's a really wonderful amount", said SCAA's Director of Fundraising and Communications Nick Harvey, adding "I think this shows the major impact that our work has had across Scotland, especially since the launch of our Aberdeen-based air ambulance in 2020.

"We'd like to sincerely thank everyone that donated and took part in the auctions, along with all the event partners and sponsors."

Every year, SCAA partners with companies and organisations throughout Scotland to raise awareness and ensure that SCAA continues to be a integral part of Scotland's emergency response network.
